“ This is the place if you want to try yuba (tofu skin). Even though I'm not usually a big fan of yuba, I really liked trying their yuba lunch set menu . A little pricey compared to other restaurants in the building, but you can have a superb view of Kyoto Tower and quiet space. ”

“ Today's multi-course lunch in Kyoto was incredible, featuring Yuba, a local specialty derived from soy milk. Our elevated vantage point offered a stunning view of Kyoto Tower. Although many dishes were new to me, the overall experience was both culturally enriching and delicious. The only negative was that we were not given oshibori (お絞り). I had to ask for it in Japanese. They were very apologetic for forgetting. ”

“ Located on the 11th floor of iSetan, we had a meal course by the view of Kyoto Tower. This place is known for serving a course of lamer lunch out of tofu/ bean curd skin. From appetiser to deserts, our dishes are served with different textures of the bean curd skin. Highlight of the dish was that we get to dip the bean curd skein into Ponzu sauce & eat it like it’s cold soba. The grilled mackerel they served was served fresh with a nice amount charred was; it wasn’t overcooked or undercook & it was a great texture. Another dish to highlight was the fish soup served with cherry blossom leaves & glutinous rice. It was a special dishes for our taste as it was my first time having cherry blossom dish. ”
